On August 15, 2022, Skyline Retail REIT purchased a newly built, grocery-anchored shopping centre located at 170-182 Saint-Luc Boulevard, 1216-1271 Douglas Street, and 1305-1325 Douglas Street, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. The property totals 166,107 square feet and comprises 30 tenants, including IGA, Dollarama, Tim Hortons, and SAQ (provincial liquor store). The property is 96.4% occupied.

“Located on the northern side of the city, this newly built, grocery-anchored shopping center is intermediate to two major transportation routes, providing excellent visibility for tenants and convenient service to nearby residents.”
Post-acquisition, Skyline Retail REIT comprises 116 properties in 70 communities in 5 provinces across Canada, with a total of 5,264,227 square feet of retail space.
