Investment Summary

The Skyline Retail Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) is a privately-owned Canadian real estate investment trust, comprised of national anchor tenants spread out across Ontario and Quebec’s secondary and tertiary cities. This REIT focuses on smaller properties occupied by the types of tenants not affected by the rise in online retailing. Typically, its new acquisitions will have over ten years remaining on the lease of the major brand name tenants. Skyline Retail REIT’s current targeted 7.5% annual distribution rate is paid monthly. Its targeted Funds From Operations (FFO) payout ratio is 80-90%, allowing for a buffer from economic volatility, unpredictable costs and expenses, and provides the opportunity for organic growth.
