On June 24, 2019, Skyline Apartment REIT, a privately-owned and managed portfolio of multi-residential properties across Canada, announced the acquisition of The Vincent Coleman, a multi-residential property in Halifax, NS, for $27.7M. The acquisition is a mid-rise apartment building consisting of 124 units and is the REIT’s first acquisition in Halifax, NS.

Located in Halifax’s West End at 3330 Barnstead Lane, this professionally managed building features many high-end amenities and close to multiple shopping centres and transit lines. As part of the Skyline Living community, the Resident Manager of this portfolio will plan regular social events and charitable activities to help the tenants of the building be active members of the Halifax community.

Post-acquisition, the Skyline Apartment REIT comprises of 200 properties in 56 communities across 8 provinces – ON, SK, NB, QC, AB, BC, NS, MB – with 17,542 units and 655,178 square feet of commercial space.
